LUB-MET® fullfills the highest operational demands and is suitable for shock loads. Depending on the alloy, it is corrosion-resistant and also highly wear-resistant with a long life span.
Cranes, mining machines, construction machinery, off-shore & marine applications, steel plant, hydro power & hydro mechanical
LUB-MET® is a maintenance-free bearing material, but an initial greasing is mandatory for the "running-in"process. A lithium aging-resistant grease should be used.
Housing: Chamfer min. 1.5 mm x 15-45°, for easy bushing alignment Shaft: Chamfer 5 mm x 15°, for easy insertion of the shaft
* For higher requirements – e.g. higher temperature ranges – different materials are available in this category.
** The listed values in the material properties are valid for optimal operating conditions. By changing the conditions of application, e.g. an increase in the sliding speed or strain, these values could shift.
